Call for Zines!

The Dirty Dishes Collective has put out a call for zines, short essays, and other experimental writing/creative published works for a physical zine library in Victoria, BC.
The DDC will purchase one copy of each selected work to display in our library shelf, available for community-use at open studios, residencies, exhibitions, and other events. Each zine will remain within our collective's library archive, and will open opportunities for emerging artists to share and potentially sell their work.

We are always accepting artist portfolios and proposals! Please keep in mind we are looking for emerging, contemporary artists who have a critically engaged and experimental practice. We are looking to collaborate with artists on long term projects, exhibitions, artist residencies, zine libraries and more!
We prioritize artists working with/in queer themes and methodologies
ARTIST SUPPORT/FEES:
Currently, the DDC can offer an exhibition space, curatorial support/collaboration, grant support, publicity and documentation.

Artist bio + CV
Link to Artist Website or attach 5-10 examples of your work
Short proposal or Letter of Intent (optional) Why do you want to work with us? Do you have a specific project in mind? Are there any special requirements? Tell us about it!
We will reach out if/when your work is accepted.
